Mohinga- a classic dish

When you travel & tour in Myanmar, Mohinga is a dish that you will come across so often that you may even think it’s the national dish of the country. It’s basically a fish soup with rice noodles flavoured with ginger, onion and many other ingredients.

Noodle Salad – an easy combination

This is considered a light in-between meal by the locals, and you will see this dish as delicious experimentation done. It’s a dish made by mixing rice noodles with any ingredient, be it salad leaves, onions or anything.

Rice and Curry

When you are exploring the Burmese traditions with Aitken Spence Travels Myanmar, you will also get the chance to be closer to rice and curry. For curries, they don’t just have meat, instead, they have a wide variety of vegetable curries too.

Shwe Yin Aye – a rich dessert

‘Shwe Yin Aye’ when translated to English means ‘cooling down your golden heart’ and this dessert really suits its name. It has coconut milk, jelly, and even icecream sometimes, and the taste is just mind-blowing.
