Australia is home to a vast number of rooftop bars that most of its visitors take as a challenge to go bar hopping. Let’s look at some of the best rooftop bars around to visit when you’re here.

1) Rocket Rooftop

Rocket Rooftop can be found right in the heart of Adelaide’s West End, on the top level at Crippen Place. They offer the most important aspects of what you look out for in a rooftop bar, such as tropical vibes, gorgeous views and an extensive drink menu to keep you occupied. Whether it’s before or after you embark on this list, treat yourself to a wonderful stay at any one of Australia’s serviced apartments. Darwin has a number of excellent choices like the Oaks Elan Darwin for instance.

2) 2KW Bar and Restaurant

With a beautiful view across the River Torrens and all the way to the Adelaide Hills, the 2KW Bar and Restaurant is located 8 floors up a historic building. Great offerings here include both small production and local wines that will be served directly from the barrel.

3) The Hennessy Rooftop Bar

Unveiled in December 2015, the Hennessy Rooftop Bar rose to immense popularity with its gorgeous ambience. You’ll find an elegantly decorated interior along with leather armchairs and lounges ready to comfort you.

4) Gallery

An incredibly popular place, Gallery includes a rooftop bar on its third floor. This is the place to come to if you want to bask in modern art, designer metal chairs and wooden bench tables.
