Perhaps one of the most anticipated restaurant openings, the Gilbert Scott in London is set to open its doors to the public early May 2011. Offering a unique dining experience to the guests, it is located in one of city’s most historic sites, in honour of the building’s original architect, Sir George Gilbert Scott.

Its historical location contributes heavily to its style and décor, designed by the renowned David Collins Studio, who have flawlessly created an interior reminiscent of the historic grand railways stations in Britain. The newly refurbished and renovated restaurant is the second venture by the illustrious English chef, Marcus Wareing.

Essentially a brasserie, the menu selection offered at Gilbert Scott pays immense respect to the heritage of the building, offering both, traditional and contemporary dishes. Celebrating the finer moments of UK’s culinary history, it is open 7 days a week, for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
