Exotic Food in Vietnam – Discovering the Ultimate Taste of Excellence

Recognised the world over as being one of the healthiest cuisines, the Vietnamese food takes you on the ultimate journey to taste that can hardly be perfected further. Rare and unique ingredients are used in these soups such as snails in the making of Bún Ốc, while egg noodles and rice noodles are combined with a variety of meat including chicken, pork, beef and duck.

Congees also include interesting options such as the Cháo long which uses pork intestine, gizzard, heart, kidney and the liver combined with rice porridge. Cơm hến is a popular as well as an inexpensive rice dish to be found in the city of Hue that uses rice and clams. Sticky rice is also favourites among the Vietnamese as well as dumplings, pastries and pancakes. Preserved fruits, tofu, sausages and fermented fish, shrimp and meat are also among the popular dishes to be found in this land of delicacies.
