Savouring Delectable Maldives Seafood

Surrounded by the sea, it is little wonder that the Maldives offers a wealth of delectable seafood cuisine. A great way to sample this cuisine is by staying at Maldives resorts which let you sample authentic local and seafood dishes. One of the best Maldives spa resorts, Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas takes it one step further by also offering underwater dining at its Sea.Fire.Salt.Sky venue where you can literally dine underwater! Among the popular seafood dishes in the Maldives are grilled octopus and fish which are made utilising a variety of spices and chillies. Reef and tuna fish dishes are also local favourites as are fish soups such as Garudhiya, a tuna filled dough known as Bajiya and the Hanaakurimas fish curry.
