The birthplace of Thai street food

All travellers are well aware of Chinatown in Thailand. you might find it interesting yet no surprise to find out that Chinatown is the birthplace of Thai street food. The satay here is said to be amazing with meat skewered onto a bamboo stick and grilled on an open flame, it is then served with peanut sauce and cucumber. Yaowarat road as called by the locals is just a short distance away from hotels like Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok.

Pad See Eiw

This is one of the everyday Thai street food dishes among travellers and locals alike. Pad See Eiw is a combination of wide rice noodles enhanced with vegetables like cabbage or Chinese broccoli and stir-fried with a meat of your choice. If spicy is your thing then go ahead and add some chilli flakes too! Try it at one of the restaurants in Bangkok.

Kluay Tod

Kluay Tod is a dessert made with banana. The banana is deep fried and battered with dried coconut and sesame seeds. Once cooked, the product is a warm and crusty golden snack to dig your teeth into!

Som Tam

Since Thai seafood dishes are undeniably the best, you just must try Som Tam! The highlight of this delightful street delicacy is shrimp mixed with papaya, tomatoes and carrots. Lime juice and a heap of sweet and spice are added to this mix as well.
